I’m from Aussieland. My ideas of NYC were from TV shows such as ‘Friends’.
And one of the things that Joey Tribbiani made me look forward to was the PIZZA! I found that a lot of the pizzerias were mass-produced/commercial and it was fairly average. Where the good pizza was at: Small little cafes that sold pizza by the slice.
My favourite was at Carve Pizza on the corner of 47th St and 8th Avenue.
They sold gigantic pizza slices that were fairly affordable (around 3 to 5 USD).
It kept us full for the whole day!
Did I enjoy it? Just look at my face!
